Toronto has the weirdest weather. It goes from warm and sunny, to freezing cold, to a snowstorm, to a torrential rain. Currently we are in the middle of torrential rain storm and lately I have been totally unmotivated to do anything at all. You walk out your door and you get all wet, dirty, and it takes a lot of work to get out of bed in the morning.
As per usual I have been eating a lot of hot oatmeal to compensate for the miserable weather.
Blueberry Banana Bread Oatmeal
-one serving of my original oatmeal recipe
-1/4 cup blueberries
-1T peanut butter
-1/4 cup greek yogurt
-1T coconut flakes
Prepare my original oatmeal recipe. Top with remaining ingredients. Serves one.
Yesterday's lunch was an old favorite:
-cheesy feta omelet sandwich (with mustard and tomato)
- mixed salad in a mason jar
- asian pear
-big glass of lemon water
For some reason I love eating things out of mason jars and I have a huge love of soy! I have this principle where I eat clean 80-90% of the time. I don't limit myself on calories or fat or quantities of food I eat. All my life I have never had a sweet tooth for cake or donuts, and ever since giving up pop and candy I can't even stand looking at the stuff. It tastes AWFUL.
I love eating nice pure and clean food, especially food that is visually appealing. It makes eating fun!
